4. Conditioning from the Roots
Hair conditioner helps the hair strands become soft but when you apply some from the roots then this can damage your hair. Avoid conditioning from the roots as our hair naturally produces oils which condition on their own. Instead, start the conditioner application in the midshaft toward the ends. Mast (hairstylist) say “the ends of the hair are the oldest, meaning they’ve been on your head the longest, contain the least amount of moisture, and are the most dead, so this is the area that needs the most conditioning.” Meaning, hair tips requires more attention than the roots.
