All What You Need to Know About French Braid Hairstyles

18. Loose French Braid into Bun

You can finish your French braid with an elegant bun by adding some simple twists and turns. Women with long to medium hair can probably create this stylish look. Start the braid on one side of the head and end on the other side completing it with a messy bun securing it with a nice ponytail with an accessory for a more sophisticated look. This hairdo will fit perfectly during the wedding or while you’re out on a date.

19. Fishtail French Braid

Fishtail is one of the many variations of the French braid. This hairstyle is said to be beautiful the messier it gets which makes it ideal for a long day. In making a regular fishtail, you must first divide your hair into two sections. You should have a left and right piece. Take a thin strand of your hair from the left part gathering it from the outside. Then put the thin strand up and across the left section, moving it towards the right side. Turn the thin strand under the right section to make it a part of the right part. Tug gently on the two sections to tighten them. Then take a thin strand from the right section. Keep altering both sides until you reach the end of your hair. Secure it with a ponytail then loosen up a little bit to create a messy fishtail braid. This hairstyle is perfect if you’re always on-the-go. Students and office employees can perfectly ace this hairstyle.
